What to and not to bring in the check-in and carry-on baggages!
For first time travelers, most of them are clueless about the things that they could and could not bring at the airport to avoid conflict while checking in their baggage. We don't want to spend extra time explaining to the authorities that we need to bring this and that, right? and as much as possible, we don't want to throw away our important things because they are not allowed in the airport.
So here is the list of the things you can bring for check-in and carry-on baggage:
Please be reminded that items such as Liquids, Aerosols, and Gels (LAGs) are still subject to local airport security restrictions when carrying it in cabin baggage.
Liquids and gels such as conditioners, shampoos, lotion, perfumes and similar products should not exceed 100ml. The total volume of LAGs must not exceed 1L. If you needed to bring your perfume, make sure you put it in the checked-in baggage so that it will not be confiscated upon final x-ray inspection.
Alcoholic Beverages in retail packaging that contains 24% to 70% alcohol by volume, in receptacles not exceeding 5L; total quantity per person is 5L.
When buying wines or liquors in the duty-free shop, buyers need to ensure that the total volume of the alcoholic beverages does not exceed 5l.
Non-radioactive, medicinal, or toilet articles in the form of aerosols such as hairsprays, perfumes, colognes, and medicines containing alcohol. The total net quantity of these articles must not exceed 2L or 2 k and the net quantity of every single article must not exceed 0.5kg or 0.5L.
Carbon Dioxide or dry ice: some airlines like PAL are accepting this item provided that the quantity is not exceeding 2.5kg per person when used as refrigerants to perishables the baggage should be completely sealed to prevent any release of CO2 gas.
Small, non-flammable gas cylinders containing CO2 or other suitable gas, up to small cylinders fitted into a life more jake and up to two spare cartridges per person not more than four cylinders up to 50 ml water capacity for other devices.
Portable medical electronic devices, these kinds of items are allowed for carry-on baggage and checked baggage but you must secure an approval from the airlines.

Basically, these are the things you cannot bring to the cabin as hand-carry,
Work tools or equipment with the smell of gas: one example of this item is the chainsaw. Those items are can be allowed in the check-in if only the fuel is completely removed and there's no smell coming from the equipment.
Battery-powered wheelchairs or other mobility devices: this can be allowed for check-in but the passenger must secure a clearance and approval from the airlines.

E-Cigarettes
Battery-powered mobility aids with lithium-ion batteries, however, the lithium-ion batteries must be removed and carried.
Powerbanks with a lithium-ion battery with a maximum capacity of 100 WH.
Rechargeable Powerbanks batteries on cameras and other video equipment between 101 to 160 WH. Limit to 2 batteries only.
Non-rechargeable or Primary A4 size or smaller batteries
Items that are completely not allowed for check-in and carry-on
These items are considered as 'dangerous goods' this is not allowed if and only if the passenger got a prior clearance from Pal.
